To print off a copy of the October homework please click the link above. A copy of the homework is also on the back of the October Newsletter that was placed in your child's cubbie on September 30th. Notice on the homework there are some optional math workbook pages your child can do. These pages are not required to get full credit on the report cards for completes and returns homework.

You will notice that on the homework it asks that you look at page two to see what the children should bring for show and tell on Monday. We have reduced the newsletter to one page rather than two. Please click the link above to view the newsletter.
Also many have asked about the math workbooks that were sent home at the beginning of the year with the homework folder. On the homework calendar, starting in October, we will list some enrichment pages that can be done with your students to support the classroom learning. Please keep the math workbooks in your child's homework box to be used as needed in the future.

April Homework & High Frequency Word Flashcards
If you need a new copy of the April homework, feel free to download and print the homework from the following link. Students are given a grade on the report card for completing homework. Students are also tested at the end of every month on all of the high frequency words taught to that point in the year. So please make sure that you are practicing these words at home. You can print the flashcards from the following link or just write them on index cards at home. But please practice the words with your child! We will also be practicing in class. This month students will retake the DRA test (reading assessment), knowing the high frequency words will help your child do well on the test!
This month the students will also be completing animal reports. Click on the following report to view instructions for this project.
