There is no homework for the month of May.  Please continue to read and practice the flashcards with your child.  This will help your child to be ready for the end of year testing.  Your child will have access to Raz kids through out the summer.  Please continue to use this important reading resource, as it gives your child books on their level.  Maintaining your current reading schedule over the summer will ensure that your child stays on level for first grade! 

Animal Reports

This month the students will be preparing animal reports for homework and then they will be presenting the reports to the class.  The students all did wonderful with their stories last month, so we are really looking forward to hearing the animal reports.  Click on your teachers name to view the directions for the report and to see when your child will be presenting.  You can call or email your child's teacher if you have any questions.

The April homework will be due on May 1st.  Homework reinforces the concepts that we are currently teaching at school, so we appreciate the time you put into helping your child complete their homework!  Thank you!
